We grind the concrete substrate using HTC planetary diamond grinders to remove laitances, oils, and weak spots, opening the concrete pores.

Penetrative Epoxy Priming

A thin layer of heavy-duty solvent-free primer is rolled out. It penetrates into the microscopic pores of the slab, anchoring subsequent layers.

How long does an industrial epoxy floor take to cure?

Normally, a standard epoxy floor cures for foot traffic within 24 hours of topcoat application. For heavy industrial machinery and vehicles (such as forklifts), we recommend waiting 48 to 72 hours for absolute chemical polymerization and hard-curing.

Can epoxy coatings be applied over damaged or cracked concrete floors?

Yes! Surface preparation is 80% of our job. We use advanced polymer crack-injectors, self-leveling concrete underlayments, and crack arrestors to structurally repair base voids, pits, and structural cracks before applying the resin base coats.

What is the difference between epoxy and polyurethane (PU) floors?

Epoxy floors are extremely rigid, offering high impact and loading strength, perfect for heavy warehouses. PU coatings are more elastic and flexible, offering better thermal shock resistance (e.g. walk-in freezers, food wash bays) and strong UV color stability under direct sunlight.

Is metallic flooring slippery when wet?

Since metallic epoxy is incredibly glossy, it can be slick if water gathers on top. To address this, we blend a micro-fine aluminum oxide or glass quartz aggregates into our protective topcoats, creating a slip-resistant textured profile without clouding the luxury finish.
